Quarried at Britannia quarry in Leeds; Woodkirk is a fine grained buff sandstone suitable for all building purposes. Light buff/grey when newly quarried it soon weathers to a rich buff in colour.
Woodkirk has been used on many prestigious developments including:
- Kings Cross Station, London
- Paddington Station, London
- Corn Exchange, Manchester
Approximately five years of quarrying remain.
